Our Story

Kin & Co was created from a deep belief that families thrive when their homes are calm, organized, and centered around the needs of both children and parents. After more than 14 years working with families in private homes, nonprofit settings, and healthcare environments, founder Chelsea Larsen saw how transformative thoughtful support can be during pregnancy, postpartum, and the early years of childhood.

Drawing from experience as a professional nanny, newborn care specialist, and postpartum doula—as well as her studies in social work—Chelsea founded Kin & Co to help families create nurturing home environments where children can grow with confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Rooted in Montessori-informed principles and respectful caregiving, Kin & Co exists to support families in building rhythms, systems, and relationships that allow the whole household to flourish.
